Invoice generation query

Hi All,

In the system, an invoice generation iDoc failed with the below error:

The iDoc had status 51 - and the error was -

Item category XEDR XFOC cannot be invoiced with billing type XEDR-Message no. VF003

But, there is no config to assign any item categories to billing types in configs, isnt it?

Can you please advice.

Please go to VTFL and maintain the item category from Delivery to Billing, i feel this copy control setting is not mainained, Maintain this and try it again. Another setting you have to check is billing relevance of item category in VOV7

Can you please tell how the billing relevance in item category should be maintained? I checked VOV& and the billing relevance was A.

Dear Kase,

Billing relevance A means item is relevant to billing. That means this is not the point of problem in your case. So please check the copy control setting in VTFL for the aforesaid item categories.
