Hi Exprerts,

I want to install SRM MDM catalog in my home pc. What are the prerequisites for SRM MDM catalog installation in home pc.

Is it require to install SRM and MDM servers for the same.

Also give version information.

Hi,

As mentioned above, you need MDM and SRM both. But if you are planning to install SRM 7.0, you also need to install portal with it as it is a mandate by SAP.

i have 500 GB hard disk, is it sufficient for this?

Hi,

Hard disk is ok, but you should have atlease 2-3 GB RAM. For further details you can check product availability matrix (http://service.sap.com/pam) and the installation guides.

Hi Venky,

Yes you have more than enough hard disk space. You should have atleast 2 GB of RAM and installation of SRM will take around 20 GB of your hard disk space.

Hi Venky,

Yes it is required to install SRM and MDM both, however you can make use of SRM Java to deploy the necessary SCA files. For SRM-MDM Versions check SAP Note 1083126. But it is always recommended to download entire SRM-MDM package which consists of MDM installables and the version compatible SCA files hence you can avoid version compatibility issue.
