Reg: Customer shipment details

Dear Gurus,

For my client I need a business solution in SAP for their customers that the customers shall be able to track the status of their P.O,Delivery ,stock for a particular material etc.

It will be a web portal addressing the customers in their business activities.

Hope anyone could help /suggest in this regard.

Hi Ravi

I think you are talking about ESS or e-serve means our portal login for any customer.In sap standard we don't have such facility.To do this we have to create a new BAPI which will trigger a RFC and that will get the all the information from SAP.Please let me know for any other assistant or any new idea.

Could you please explain:

Is SAP Enterprise portal a different application and it will not suite my business need?

Could you please elaborate or give me an overview how this solution would look like in SAP?
