Hey gurus,
We have close to 3000 existing vendors who have been identified as needing an update in a newly created custom field.How do we accomplish this?Manually,its an arduous task.
How can we automate this task....any user exit/function module in ECC which can help us?
And how do we transfer the new custom field to SRM?Any standard program?
ecc6.0,srm5.0
Please share your insights/experience.

OK..guys...i researched and found that there is a BADI in SRM...which will help replicate the customer field from ECC to SRM.
My question is: we have already gone live.Do we run the vendor_update program to....update the new field information in SRM?
Also,anyone with any insight on how to update ~3000 vendor masters with the new field/information?
Points to be taken,people.Any info/direction will be great.
