GDS Synchronization

Can anyone tell me what the different types of synchronizing available in SAP GDS.

Hi ,

GDS is a business process which in the process does the following.

Mfg's of goods makes the Product catalogs (items) available to the Data pools and in turn retailers Synchronize (access those item data ) from those data pools in conjunction with GS1 Global registry.

I guess as of no using SAP MDM GDS Console we can achieve doing that in various steps.

Registering the valid data to the source data pools

Publishing the data to the global registry (GS1).

U can also do various enhancements in the GDS depending on the requirement like UI enhancements Field Enhancements etc.

Hi,

for GDS, you take Synchronous messaging. As you publish the data to your business partners, you also recieve messages back for their success or failure. These messages then change the status of your trade items to be Registered.
