PPDS planned orders without Chars

Dear all,

I'm creating a prototype in APO for CDP with KMATs.

When I create Forecast or PPDS preq, I can see characteristics I entered in Product View. However, this is not happening for Plnd orders (PPDS). Even when I run PPDS heuristics for Forecast, plnd orders are created without any chars.

My resource is single-mixed and I'm using PPM.

Can you suggest any settings to be checked in resource, PPM or spro?

Hi Bipin,

Please check the following.

1) In material master of the planned order item, check whether the

classification view is maintained

2) In resource, under classification field check whether the

classification is defined

3) If any changes done, you need to rerun the integration model

for all (including material, resource, PPM etc.,)

4) Delete the existing planned orders and then carry out a fresh

run

5) Based on the fresh run, check the characteristics for the planned

orders generated freshly

The problem was in PPM. I forgot to select "use characteristics" in PPM. it's resolved now.
