Java Instance permanent shot down

Hi Friends,

I'm struggling for about 2 days with the post installation procedure for Netweaver PI/XI.

The strange thing is, sometimes I can login to NWA somtimes the J2ee instance restarts.

And now, even then I log out from NWA the J2ee instance restarts.

First I thought it is a Authorization problem, but it seems to be a memory problem,or?

I changed the heap size and all these things, but no success.

Can somebody guide through this configuration(, or can point me to a document.

I found the postinstallation guide, but this was not very helpfull.

Thanks in advance

Jimbob.

Hi,

Check SAP Note 723909 - Java VM settings for J2EE 6.40 or 7.0.pdf

Note 724452 - Central Note for SAP NetWeaver Java Server 04 or 2004s.pdf

Thanks

Sunny

Thanks Sunny, the Problem is solved by applying the settings from the note.

Now I create a new thread regarding authorizations.

Thanks Jimbob

You can set parameter rdisp/j2ee_start = 0 using RZ10 to shutdown java instance permanently. Remember you can enable it again by changing same parameter to 1.
