External RFC call using PI RFC Adapter

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to integrate R/3 with C++ based application using PI.

To achieve this we are considering one of the approaches using RFC adapter.

I learnt that for doing this we need RFC SDK on the C++ application side.

Could you provide me any documents describing this scenario.

I am particularly interested in Receiver RFC channel configuration.

Hi Prasad,

That document is to connect with out XI. It is for connecting to SAP directly without XI. Also check this doucment in the other link I found:

If you want to connect with XI you can look into the document How to Connect non-SAP RFC-Programs with SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure. But I see this document is missing in SDN. I dont see your id in your business card. If you want this document you can send a mail from my business card.
