Also, I have another Instance in PRD SMD, UInder J2EE Engine, it shows only one process there SMDAgent, thats disable, I tried to Enable it but same it starting Framworks and Disable again...

HI

Port number HTTP- 5XX00 ,XX= Instance Number.

SMD Agent is not an issue, you can stop it or leave it like that ,unless you are using it for Wily/Solution Manager.

Wat u want to know is whether ADS is installed or not.

In the 1st reply have given u the link, which tell u how to check whether the ADS is installed or not.

For testing the ADS refer this

Hi,

If you have java stack then ADS is the default software component. You will definetly have this deployed in your SAP system.

Check the software components usiing http://hostname:5xx00 then index page will appear then navigate to system information, all components.

Thanks a lot

I checked http://server:50000/Monitor/SystemInfo to look at components

Thats shows

com.adobe AdobeDocumentServices null (800.2110307.448) Adobe Systems Adobe Systems 20019167 null/null

is that mean that insalled already ?

Thanks a lot again

Hi,

ADS would be default there in the system you need to configure to get it going it comes with WAS JAVA.

Are both ABAP and JAVA are on the same system or on different system.

If they are apart then BI-BASES and BI-WEBAPP components need to be deployed

Hi,

I think you have BI system on which the usage type portal is also installed. Just go through the note 944221.

Make sure you assign the default printer in SU01 for the users. Some times this works, it generally takes the default printer options from the SU01 settings for printing.

No need to deploy the BI_BASES and other component, if you have installed usage type portal and BI-java then this components

will be deployed by default. I think your systems has this things. Because in your above post you are saying you are running as webpage.

Vamshi.
