Item status in local contract (inactive/active/ being chkd) functionality

Hi Experts,

Any idea what the functionality is of the field 'status' in an item of a local SRM contract? I can be set to inative, active or 'being chkd'.

By the way: setting an item to inactive has not any effect of the item in CCM.

Hi

Item is inactive means it is equivalent to delete.(like locking) at item level. you can not

rlease contract for this item.

I believe if you made some chages in the contract and it must distribute again.then only it is

replicated in another system.

I thought so too. The problem is the item is not deleted from CCM.

PS: I also logged a SAP message for it.

SAP answered back and provided a note 1374154. So in case you have the same problem, you check that one.
