Deletion of roles from mass users

Hi,

I have a requirement to delete 5 roles from 500 users profile.

But the 500 users were assigned with different roles which may include those 5 roles.

Is there any way to delete those 5 roles from the users profiles at a go apart from the following ways.

1).Going through each users profile and deleting those roles.

2).Going through PFCG and placing th role and deleting those users assigned with that role from the users tab.

Use that as a search term, here or in SAPhelp, and you should get a lot of information. Actually, this is quite basic knowledge in user management.

You can also try with CATT Script to do this if these 5 roles are need to be removed from those 500 users in each case. But if you need to remove some of the roles from some (say 100) users , then another combination of some roles out of 5 for another set of users then you need to prepare the Script for all those combination.

Please search security forum with string "CATT" / "eCATT" / Mass change etc..
