LDAP Registration Fails

Hello,

We are receiving the following error when we start our SRD (SRM - Dev) system.

ldap/options found in profile: DirType=NT5ADS

ldap/servers found in profile: ywldapsrv.yw.kelda

ldap/saprdn not found in profile

ldap/namingcontext not found in profile

DIR_GLOBAL found in profile: C:\usr\sap\SRD\SYS\global

No authentication info for LDAP connect found in encrypted file "C:\usr\sap\SRD\SYS\global\ldappasswd".

Using anonymous authentication.

Using LDAP server: ywldapsrv.yw.kelda:389

Using SAP root container: CN=SAP,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=kelda

      • ERROR => Failed to register

"ldap_reg_SAPServices" returned error code 16

No Such Attribute

The Active Directory root server has been edited acordingly and has the container CN=SAP within CN=Services,CN=Configuration.

The LDAP connector appears to be working correctly and successfully connects with the user specified.

The TCP/IP RFC also tests successfully.

We cannot find any information with regards to the file C:\usr\sap\SRD\SYS\global\ldappasswd it is referring to!

Hi,

Is the Cn name complete? the CN name has only one DC field. Please verify with the windows administrator. Also

ldap/saprdn not found in profile means no mapping defined. Please check the following sap link and configure the visual administrator accordingly.
