Can ESS webdynpro debug?

Hi can we debug ESS webdyn pro DC components from NWDS just like normal web application?

Hi praveen,

Hope your WAS server is running in debug mode

Click on Run->Debug Dialog

Under the node Remote Java application

Right click select new

specify your debug port and server name add the Dc to the source.

Once this done, put the break point

Launch your debugger

Thanks everyone. Good information we tried external breakpoint on R/3 until now and they are working in debug mode. Haven't tried WD end to end debug yet as we have no control on the portal server now.

We can able to debug ESS webdyn pro DC components from NWDS .

For example we can debug Bank Account Type on Banks Overview

Hi Praveen

1.You can do through breakpoint in NWDS or

2.you can put external breakpoint to the Particular RFC in R/3 and for external breakpoint you need same user in r/3 and portal
