Performance of VC iview

i have modelled a VC iview based on BI Queries .

The performance of the iview is not good.

also additional info is that:

1) i have modelled with multiple Nested iviews where ever required.

2) i was getting the error when deploying in "Flex" Runtime( 32 k Error) i have deployed the model using the "Flash(Flex2)"runtime

environment.And there was no 32 K error

4)i have Unchecked the following check boxes in Tools > Options

>compile tab:

a)Mask Unsupported Features

b)Report Unsupported Features

5) I have checked "Use the dedicated connections for Nested iviews"

6)i totally have 6 tabs -Each tab is placed in a nested iview

7) our system is in VC 7.0 SP 16

😎 There are limited filters and other operators ( Join or combine)

effecting the

performance in VC Model

The report or dashboard execution time is more than 120 seconds ...and

it is

crashing when executed for second or third time for different input

parameters

The iview loading time is more than the 10 seconds ....initially after

clicking the link in detailed level navigation.

iam running in a 2 GB ram laptop

Please let me know if there is anything on the system resources side or

VC Model side to optimize to get the performance improved.

Please let me know if there is any flash version mandatory requirement

on the client laptops for having the Flex 2.0 runtime.

Hi

In 'Compiler tab', if you have unchecked 'Mask Unsuported features' then please select this. This will improve the performance.

By reading your discription i think you have unchecked this option.
