In our production system , some mails are trigering to some users.The content of mails is..

In SPRO -> SRM server -> Cross application settings - > Event and Event Schema for Alert Management -> Define event schema, check event control and event schema for object type 'Employee' (i don"t remember if 'Admin' exists).

You should have an 'Alert' as event category for user creation: delete this row or as explained by Muthuraman, delete variant for concerned alert category.

Hi Laurent,

I followed the SPRO path in Blog and in the first screen aftre completing the path contains table in which the first entery is

O b ject Type = BUS1006003

Description = Employee

Description (Long) = Employee

I select this entery and double click on folder Event Schema on left hand side.

This screen contains following entry

Eve ntSchem = MA

Text For Event Schema = Employee

Now I select this entery and double click on the folder Event Control on left hand side

This screen contains conrains following entries

Event Event Category Sub Category Of Event Event Deadline in hours

ADRESS_CHANGED Al_ert (High Priority) SRM_EMPLOYEE 0

ADRESS_CHANGED Message (Low Priority) blank 0

DEPARTMENT_CHANGED Al_ert (High Priority) SRM_EMPLOYEE 0

DEPARTMENT_CHANGED Message (Low Priority) blank 0

ERROR_OCURRED Al_ert (High Priority) SRM_EMPLOYEE 0

In transcation ALRTCATDEF

When i select SRM Alerts and select SRM_EMPOYEE

Under properties tab

Description = Alert for employees

Classification = SRM Alerts

Priority = High

Mx.No.Of Dels = 3

Expiry time in mins = 1.440

When I click on FIxed Recipents button on the toolbar the recipents list is empty.

I have also checked that the background job RSALERTPROC is not scheduled.

I am clue less how these alerts are trigering..

Hello Anubhav,

Try to get on your development environment, by testing one by one their deletion, which one of alert ADRESS_CHANGED or DEPARTMENT_CHANGED is at the origin of e-mail sending.

This kind of alert could be sent when user is mutate from one organization unit to another one.

You can also check what was exactly the action done on user for whom alert was sent.

In ALRTCATDEF transaction, have a look at alert category SRM_ADMIN.

I have changed the SPRO setting for alerts in DEV and its working fine.

One thing I am not able to understand is that without scheduling the report RSALERTPROC how the alerts were trigerring.

TA SE16 @ BBPC_EVENTMAP

Remove the flag 'X' from column ACTIVE for BUSOBJECT 'BUS1006003' and EVENTCLASS 'CL_BBP_EVENTS_BP'. That should stop it

RSALERTPROC - you might run this job (program) . check which variant does and delete that variant / stop not to run.

for eg SRM_EMPLOYEE variant name.

Hi Muthu,

I checked this report by executing it in SE38. I chose Goto--> Variants but it only gives option of Save Variant As , the option Display Variants is deactivated , it means that there are no variants for this program in system..correct?

I also checked in SM37 , it is not scheduled as bgrdjob also..

i believe this job RSALERTPROC run and send a message?

however check sost and see who sends this mail alerts.

Hi Muthu,

I checked in SOST..

There are around 33 entries, 20 of which are sent and 13 incorrect the only difference I see between sent and incorrect entries is send method , for sent items the send method is internet where as for incorrect entries the send method is remote.

The user has SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW since , I guess it is an administrator.

select one item in sost and display detail document ( sun glass) and confirm. some one is trigering the message.

I can see the user id from which these mails are trigering.

You mean to say that some one is logging in the system using the administrators user id and sending these mails manually by selectig mail in SOST and pressing the button "start send process for selection" ?
