HI Experts,
I am new to JDI,i have some basic dobuts in configurations file.when we are creating a track in cms
why 2 configurationd files will be generated.generally people uses dev only then what is the purpose of 'cons'.
one more doubt.
if i have different versions of objects in dtr.when i transport any object latest versions will be transported.but if i want to take a previous version how can i do that one.is there any for that one.
thanks in advance
With Regards
Naidu
Hello Naidu,
Regarding the need of the CONS phase if you go through <a href="/people/manohar.sreekanth/blog/2005/09/21/best-practicesjdi-branching-patterns-use-cases">this</a> weblog you will get an idea when it will be useful.
DTR provides version management for a particular resource. Hence if by object you mean the complete application - in my opinion that is not possible. You can ofcourse go back to a particular version of a resource in the repository browser using the context menu options.
