Register System Landscape Directory (SLD) in R3

Hi,

I want to create an webdynpro application.

I have an R3 System which is adaptive rfc compatible.

My problem is, that I don't have an SLD Server.

I know that I can configure an SLD on my local workstation and that I have to use the transaction code "rz70" to register the local SLD on R3. But I don't know how to use this tool.

Where can I find a documentation about the SLD configuration?

Thanks in advance

Dennis

Hello Dennis,

I think you will find this document useful:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/a1-8-4/sap system landscape directory on sap web as java 6.40.pdf

Read it carefully and try to do the steps required.

Regards

Gregor

Hello Gregor,

the document was very helpful and I done all steps reqiuered. Thanks for the fast help.

But I have antoher problem with my SLD configuration.

My first additional question is:

Is it possible to define more than one SLD for a R3

System in the transaction rz70? I don't found a list or somthing else of some other SLD server. But I know that there is another SLD. Its gateway and host is registered on the rz70 Screen.

Second question:

Can I access to an SAP R3 system if both (SLD and R3) behind a Firewall and only accessible over an SAP routerstring?

Greetings,

Dennis

Hello Dennis,

unfortunately I can't answer this questions. I think you should open a new tread for each question with a well formulated subject.
