How to assign SET created in GS01 to a role

Hi all,

I am not sure whether this is the right forum to post my query. Please let me know in which forum i need to post if this is not

We have created SETs using GS01 by grouping various Cost Centres. Now we need to create roles using these Nodes created in GS01 thereby restricting the roles as per the Cost Centre groups.

Can anybody please let us know how to assign these nodes in a role i.e. using PFCG?

Hi ,

Please follow below mentioned steps for securing SETS(Or Cost Centers Mapped inside SET)

1) Assign an authorization Group for newly created SET ( GS01>>Header Data >> Authorization Group ) .You can assign different authorization group for different Sets . (For example , Say US based cost Centers - assign Auth Group US1/ Uk Based Cost Centers - Assign Auth Group UK1 )

2) Create Specific Role Group based on each Cost center group . In Role Group level , Please use authorization Object " G_800S_GSE - Special Purpose Ledger Sets: Set " to assign Individual Set Authorizations

Example : Role 1 , will have access to only Auth Group US 1 , which will provide access only to US Cost Centers .

I dont think we can link directly SET Node in PFCG Level , So approach above mentioned can be an ideal case .
