SP2-0310: unable to open file "ora_scr_tmp.sql"

Hello,

While installing the SM 7.0 EhP 1, SAPinst hangs at phase "create database" with error "SP2-0310: unable to open file "ora_scr_tmp.sql"".

Can anybody advice?

Could you please explain how it was solved. I'm in the same situation now for Solman EHP1 installation.

Hi again,

I found the error myself by changing the permissions on the /tmp/sapinst_instdir reversable ....before 770 for the directory now changed to 777 and all was working
