We have two SLD's and we would like to connect the SLD's

so that the data can be synchronized between them.

We do not want to use the export/import cause its not possible because of geographic differences.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi all,

I have got a short question.

It is possible two have 2 SLDs which are automatically synchronizing themselves. One is used for daily work (SLD A) and the other one has to be backup (SLD B).

In case of a system crash of SLD A, SLD B has to take over the work. Is it possible to configure this take over?

Thank you for your help and kind regards, Patrick.

See if creating new SLD from the existing SLD works for you.

For this go to your SLD. In crate new Technical System you can create New SLD. I think this will solve your problem.

Thanks Nilkanth. that was helpful.

One more question. How the data will be autoforwarded?

I went through the document for SLD but it only explains digramatically.

Do i have to perform any additional configuration?

First thing I will tell you is, It is not advisable to have multiple SLD. As there is noharm in having single SLD and having all the system in the landscap in it. However you have multiple SLDs for your landscap and as you said now you have created new one. Try this.

Go to IR and try importing SCV from the new SLD which you have just created. If it works then you dont need any other steps to take. If it does not work then you have to consult the Basis Guy for that while creating new SLD you have configured it with all correct parameters.
