Cant send msg to RFC Response

Former Member

Hi,

I am trying to send a "failed" message in an RFC to Jdbc using BPM when an exception arises. I tried with different combinations to send the "failed" message back to my RFC Response. I tried with rfc request also. In vain, I cant map.

Is there any way I can map simply back to the RFC Response?.

Thanks,

Raj.

Hi Michal,

Thanks for the response. I tested the mapping, its successful in the repository, but at runtime its not able to send the data back to the RFC Response. When I see in both Moni and BPE, I can see the mapping error. I tried with RFC Request also to map to RFC Res, but no use.

Hi,

test he values from the BPM and put them

in the mapping

go to technical workflow log of the BPM

and get the message payload of the messages

that you map and put it in the test tab in the

repository

if this is a mapping error maybe you just have to

eliminate it to get it working

concentrate on removing this error first

Hi Michal,

I dont see any payload for the exception error mapping, when I click on the workflow step in the BPE txn, I m getting "Payload Not Found" error. in the normal request and response, its working fine. I am testing the mapping in exception.

I already tested the mapping in the repository, its executed successfully.

Thanks,

Raj.

Hi,

have you tried mapping RFC request to rfc response

in the excentpion branch ?

with just one constant value - error ?

Hi,

>>>>what might be wrong?.

you need to use technical workflow log

not the visual workflow

click on the technical workflow log to get the payload

Hi Michal,

Can you please tell me how to see the payload in the technical workflow. I can see only the execution of the steps there.

I checked in the mapping as message_in as 1 and no message out for the mapping.

Thanks,

Raj.
