Field name of select-options

Hi all,

another question: does anybody know how to change the displayed name of a select-options on a selection screen?

Because now it show the variable name I give to the selection table (which cannot be longer than 8 characters).

hi,

You can specify it in the selection texts.

In the program, Goto->text elements -> selection texts.

The text written in 'TEXT' gets displayed on selection screen.

write ur Required text besides the select-option u declared and activate.

Go to se38-> program name -> select radio button -> Text element -> change : ) dont forget to activate

I know above you got the same answer !! but I am noticing this is common practice on SDN to repeat the same answer for points ; )
