Hello Deepa Iyer,
Are you trying to see the chang option in we02 on tree display??? then you cannot..
click on the the small note pad like icon side by the segment you want to change.. it will display the segment data in separate screen. Then on that screen you have change option..
don't forget to reward points..

As an alternative you can go to WE19 and edit the idoc and reprocess it later.

Deepa,
Yes, you can have "change" in We02 only if you change in WE02 standard code. As in program of WE02 its just passing the authorization with activity display ( 03 ) .
Program check in WE02
authority-check object authority_obj_edi_monitor
id 'EDI_TCD' field authority_tcode_rseidoc2
id 'ACTVT' field authority_activity_display
id 'EDI_DIR' dummy
id 'EDI_MES' dummy
id 'EDI_PRN' dummy
id 'EDI_PRT' dummy.
in above ACTVT = '03'. So you can not do it . If you want you have to change the code .
Auth object = S_IDOCMONI
and field = EDI_TCD
You can also give this object and field in table AGR_1251 , it will give roles with authority on object .
Hope thisll give you idea!!
<b>P.S award the points.</b>
Good luck
Thanks
