Dear all,
the JAVA Engine of a SAP PI won´t start.
In the std_server0.out there is the Error message:
Service com.sap.security.core.ume.service start ================= ERROR ======
===========
com.sap.engine.frame.ServiceException: Start of UME service failed. Check help t
opic "Start of UME Service Failed". Technical details: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoExcep
tion: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Password logon no longer possible - too man
y failed attempts
What does it means?
Check RFC UMEBackendConnection via NWA.
1. The password defined in there does not match the user's current password
2. The user defined there has been locked
The default user for this RFC is SAPJSF.

I can´t go into the NWA, because on the screen there comes the message:

If you are using SSO ticket for authorization while defining a metadata JCO Destination you might see an
exception like the one above.
Username/Password is the only valid Authorization concept while you define your Metadata JCO
Destinations. Never try to use SSO or ticket in your security settings while defining metadata JCO
Destinations. At least from SP18 onwards there are validity checks in the content administrator which
prevent you from using SSO/ticket for metadata JCO destinations
