Can you please be specific,of what type of order are you looking for? Do you mean , you need to configure any specific service order type for any particular activity?

Service Orders are a type of business transaction which specifies the nature of the work to be carried out.

Service order created at the device level will only have the focus device populated into the object list. During completion for meter replacement or removal (at device level), the related installation where the device is installed can be identified from the focus meter populated in this object list, where the serial number of the device is also available.

Example:

New Connection order :

u2022 Create service order in CRM Web Client

u2022 New Connection order (IW31) screen is called from ISU

u2022 Field officer will go to site and comeback and update the User Status.

u2022 If the user Status is completed, System status is updated automatically, which indicates the new connection order is completed.

u2022 Save

Service Orders are cost related so you need to bill the service orders.

Hi,

For new service order cration in IC Web Client new BOL Root boject is given in CRM 7.0

"ISUServiceOrder".

Use this component for call IW31 in IC Web client.

can any body tell how to manage new service connection scenario from crm 2007 ,

do we need to maintain service order in crm which thne gets replicated to isu , or any other simpler way ?
