how will i put my one coloum text in to dat coloum only in sapscrits

i have created an sapscript for invoice.

in dat all details are coming in dat table.

but the problem is dat ,

i have 5 coloum i.e

itemno. matnrno. description quantity netprice

10 dcpp11 this is the description of 20.00

50000.00

20 dcp23 this is thesecond material 35.00

40000.00

the problem is, if description details is longer, then it goes to quantity column and if shorter, then quantity value comes to description coloum.

i have used paragraph format but not geeting it.

also used condensed (c) , but no result..

Hi,

Use the formatting option &symbol(10)& this will allow you to maintain the column length that is even if the symbol is having a field with 3 characters it will utilize the space of 10 and formats the table accordingly,

Hi,

Try to fix the length for each column using TAB's in Paragraph format.

eg:

P1 - Paragraph format name

Tabs:

1 6 CH (since item no(posnr) is of length 4, i am allocation 5(4+1) and printing material No. starts from 6 CH)

2 25 Ch (since material no(matnr) is of length 18, from 25 (1861) printing Material Des. starts)

Use ',,' while printitng the values of Item No,,Materialno.,,...

',,' - Indicates the tab position.
