SAP Input Search Help Error

Hi,

I would like to know whether webdynpro standard input help message can be avoided or not..?

I have webduynpro input help which First name and last name of a employee to be serached.

There are two buttons

1. Start search

2. Ok

When entering a name in the lookup on the Input search help and pressing OK, user receives error.

"To copy a value start the search and select a value from the resulting value list "

It works when entering the name and pressing enter or Start Search but not when pressing OK.

I know it's standard input help design. but would like to any way to avoid/customize this error message, when there are no values to select from search result.

Hello Praveen,

yes, you could disable the implicit search help option.

you could use OVS or freely programmed help option for your requirement.

And we have personal search help option which is the new feature in webdynpro
