Inspection lot Certificate

Hi,

I am trying to print the certificate for an Inspection lot. I have created one MIC. This MIC is assigned in routing of two different materials.

Now when I am trying to print the certificate, I get following message and the characteristic does not get printed.

Characteristic Plant 0500 Master inspection characteristic STCIN0 is used

more than once

Message no. QC065

Diagnosis

Characteristic Plant 0500 Master inspection characteristic STCIN0,

referenced as number 0010 in certificate profile QM_MAC_1 Certificate

type QC01 Version 000001, is used more than once.

System Response

The characteristic cannot be uniquely assigned. As a result, processing

for this characteristic cannot be continued.

Procedure

Do not print this characteristic on the certificate or make sure the

characteristic is used explicitly.

Cant we use one MIC for two or more different materials. How do we handle the situation then. I want to reduce number of MICs (now 150) and also profiles.

Dear Hemant

I think the mic number is used twice in the certificate profile. if you are doing so then mention in the certificate profile the material from which the mic has to be picked up and also use Material sort number in that case.

The module is called up in certificate creation programs in the subprogram FORM_OPEN directly before calling up the function module OPEN_FORM.May be you can mension the logic here.

or

Use different Vesion number for same MIC.
