Sales Order Processing

Hi,

While processing sales order, following error is found

Material 1624 is not defiened for Sales org. 1000, dist. ch. 59, language DE.

Please suggest solution.

Material 1624 is not defiened for Sales org. 1000, dist. ch. 59, language DE.

Please check if the material has been extended to that partucular sales area , and look into the material master and change the language according to the sales orgn.

Goto mm03 and first check for the material sales area and do necessary changes accordingly .

If you want to perform in the same sales area then you will have to extend the sales area ..

I have created material for Sales Org 1000, Dist. Ch. 59 and the division is 99.

Sales order also created in the sales area 10005999.

Please suggest where I can change language in material master

I don think you have an option of changing the language in the MM , Kindly recreate the customer and check the language settings in the customer master and then try to process

Goto MM02 and in additional data tab you can change the language, try this out and let meknow.

Hi,

Go to MM02

Then go to the ADDITIONAL DATA Button on the Screen

on on that & Maintain the Material for the language DE & give the description for the .

Save that.

Now try again

HI there,

Check in what salea area your sales order is loaded.

Then check in MM02 / MM03 if the material is exteded in the same sales area. If not, pls extend the material to the same salea org, plant. You can take the help of MM people to do that if you are not aware how to do it.

You will usually do it in MM02 by maintaining the data in Sales Org views & Sales general plant.
