SD--> WMS : DO line item is cancelled even after confirmed TO

Hi All,

We are in ECC6. MM & SD linked to Full WMS.

Process: SD-WMS: SO>DO>TO>Confirm TO>PGI -->Billing

Problem: User is able to cancel the DO line item even after the TO is confirmed.

Issue: Warehouse picked the items with TO from the bin and it is confirmed in the shipping area. But SD-Shipping user is cancelling the DO line item. System should not allow this. Is ther any config setup missing to lock it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rahul,

All the TO items are confirmed. But still , we can delete the DO line item in VL02N.

This is bit risky. Because warehouse has confirmed the TO and stocks are in shipping area.

In most of the SAP processes, if there is a follow-on document, system will not allow you to cancel the parent document.

You can try with USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in Delivery Program that if the TO Status is "C" , it will not allow to delete any Line Item.

Hi Rahul,

This is not the issue. LT0G is the std transaction, which is acceptable.

In VL02N, this line item is cancelled, even though the TO is confirmed. We shouldn't allow this.

Some config is missing.

Bala,

As per my best knowledge it is standard "functionality" that you can delete the delivery item if the TO is confirmed (status "C"). You cannot delete (you shouldn't be able to delete) the delivery item if its picking status is "B" (~ TO is open).

That's all.

Hi Bala,

just check you have confirmed the complete TO or you confirmed some of it's items.

Hi

Normally SAP does not allow to cancel confirmed transfer order. However, exception is transfer order for delivery.

If you are creating a delivery it is possible for you to remove the WM stock from the delivery with transaction LT0G. So it's nothing unusual.

If useful, please award points.
