when i want to launch integration builder (sxmb_ifr) i get
The page cannot be displayed this is when working through VPN,
but at office it works just fine.. what could be the cause when connecting through VPN?
Boodi,
Are you able to login into ABAP stack.
Please try to give the fully qualified domain name and give a try.
Also please try to add the xi system in hosts file which will be at his location:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

yes I'm able to login into ABAP stack, which works fine.. only problem with java stack..
also tried giving fully qualified domain name, but the same problem..
i will have to try your 3rd solution.. (but it works fine in office but not at home so, still have to add the host name in the file?)
Network team added my access through VPN. Now it started working. Thanks for all your answers.

If it is client's VPN and XI server is in your company's network, then it won't be available unless it is configured to work under VPN. You may contact your network team for this access. However, I think that if it is client's VPN, they won't be interested in giving you access to local XI server in their network.

Hey
In you local Machine go to the following directory
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
and check the hosts file(open it in notepad).
make sure you have added the IP address of Xi server along with the Fully qualified domain name for it.
Thanks
Aamir
