Could You let me know how I could write files on a FTP server which is on a VPN,

Do you mean to say that the File adapter would hold the same usual parameters as when we use it for any FTP inside our Landscape..?The Adapter config would be as usual...?

In case your FTP partner is ready to provide an External IP address for connecting directly to FTP, then it would be easier to communicate. Otherwise let the network team work on it and you don't have much to do on PI.

Yes, no change in parameters. Depending on network folder path we need to define path in communication channel. Network people will take care on folder path creation.

Yes configuration of FTP adapter will be same.

Hi,

From PI we can't do any thing, it is network related issues. Better to talk to network team, they will enable path for file posting form PI.

Yes, The FTP server is outside our network and the connection has to ve though VPN...does this give you any clue..?

Do you mean that PI and FTP server are not in the same network? This is more to be done by the network team to establish the connection setup from PI to the FTP server.
