item category issue

Hi

When am i creating Sales order ...for material AA0000123 (material type VERP)

system give error.....(ZDPO is order type standard)...like

No item category available (Table T184 ZDPO VERP )

Message no. V1320

Diagnosis

No item category could be determined for the combination ZDPO VERP .

System Response

The system does not allow further processing of this item.

Procedure

Check the entries in table T184 by means of which item category determination is controlled.

If you do not have the authorization to do this yourself, contact your system administrator.

pls ..any one coulde be help to me in this issue

Hi Sesi,

Need to maintain the Document type ZDPO and item category group VERP combination in item category assignment table with the help of [VOV4] T-Code.

Hi Gollu,

According to me you have not maintained cofiguration settings in VOV4 (Item category Assignment).

For this combination ZDPO VERP your settings are missing.Please maintain for this combination or try to change in Item category in Materila master .

Please try and revert back.

sales docu type--item category group --- Default item category for the document

zdro verp pls check your ex; tan or yours

check in table T184 whether there is assignment of order type and item category(check in material master data under sales view) combination or not , If there is no assignment then make your assignment of combination ITEM Category Group+DOC Type-Required item category(TAN or other) with the help of T.Code VOV4

Hi,

Go to IMG u2013 sales and distribution u2013 sales u2013 sales document u2013 sales document item u2013 assign item categories.

Over here assign your item category determination like this.

ZDPO +VERP + blank + blank: then your item category might be TAN.

Do this procedure and create your sales order now.
