PI Copied from Developement to QA

Hi All

We have SAP PI Installaed for development system and same is working fine.

We did the system copy of the same and wanted to make use it for QA.

Pls let me know, the necessary changes to be done.

I deleted the business system which was pointing to SAP DEV and created a new business system with same name pointing to SAP QA R3.

IR Part could be changed as it is unless there are any RFC lookups. In case of lookups channel and business system name has to be changed if required.

Major changes would be related to SLD and ID. Are you using single SLD or different SLDs?

If it is single, you need to created transport targets and then move the ID objects. Doing this will automatically create the Business System with Q related names.

If it is multiple, then you need to first transport the SLD information to Q SLD and then perform similar transport target steps.

HI,

IR no need to do any changes, we can use same like DEV but need to active list. But ID we need to reenter data in communication channel level. If u export SLD objects from DEV to QTY mean no need to any changes in business system level also.
