Plant Creation - Service Industry & Multiple Company Codes

Hi,

For a service industry involved in consulting activities, there are multiple company codes with global locations. Only one controlling area.

As far as i know, for a project to contain networks & activities, we need to create a plant and assign it to different company codes.

In this case, we actually dont have a real plant. On what basis i would be creating a plant for each company and how do i go about it?

Please suggest.

Hi

Create the Plant based on the Project location wise, say example in a particular location if you are doing 5 projects . So create one plant and assign the projects to plant which is carried out in particular location.

Hi,

Please create a separate project plant for each company code and assign the same. Consider a plant as project plant to have all the project related activities.
