SAP System cannot be started.

Hello All,

I have Installed BI 7.0 ABAP as HIgh Availability system.But from today morning I am not able to start the Instnaces.In SAP MMC of my Central Instance I am getting sapcpe.exe could not be started with red colour.Disp+ work has been stopped also.I am pasing the dev_disp.Can you please help me in starting the system.

Hi

Did you check all the services are running fine after upgrading kernel ?

But no items are coming in MMC of CI.

You can register your SID in MMC

Open MMC>SAPsystem right click>Properties-->Fixed there enter you SID and instance number

Hope that should work

It was very simple solution which i said since i resolved the same yesterday. Make sure you also replace the files in the work directory.

I did not get replacing the file in work directory??

I have replaced the exes of ASCS,SYS & DVEBMGS01 of CI.What else I need to do??But no items are coming in MMC of CI.

oops its was DVEBMGS<system number> not the work directory, sorry for the mistake.

Did you try adding the SNAP IN in the MMC, for adding the items ..?

Download the file sapcpe.exe from SMP and replace it in the kernel. This will resolve the issue.
