Hi, I am angeline,

In NW2004s BI-QA server having a problem... Under Windows 2003 O/S MMC when I check "J2EE Process Table"

J2EE server0 -2 Stopped, but in DEV System is running fine... so I compair DEV and QAS and check configuration...

\usr\sap\BQA\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\configtool

Open CONFIGTOOLS in DEV system and QAS system to check all configuration

All configuration is same like DEV system except only one line

IN DEV SYSTEM

Under J2EE Enginee -- Instance -- Dispatcher -- Server -- Services

com.sap.security.core.ume.service

ume.r3.connection.master.ashost = application server name

IN QAS Which is I have problem:

com.sap.security.core.ume.service

ume.r3.connection.master.ashost = localhost

Ok. when I changed localhost to application server name and click on Set and also saved and closed ConfigTool Restart instance, and go back again configTool but values are not changed same listed hostalhost... ? why value is not changed

do I need to change from some Tcode

Your answer will be really appriciated

Thanks

Angeline Purnama

Since both the ABAP and JAVA instances are on the same system it does not make any difference, but there is no way this could stop the system from coming up.

Send us the server0 log file which could help us more in analysing the problem

Hi,

I think this your BI system is dual stack system so this should not be a problem. Mostly the server0 log file will help you to analyse what actually has gone wrong.

Hi,

I think your previous thread is also pointing the same issue. It would confuse the other people, Just update and follow one thread.

Hello Angeline,

When you save the config in configtool, did it give you pop-up to click OK?

Can you also please check the GATEWAY in SMGW t-code?

Hi Arjun

Thanks for fast reply,

Yes, it does asked that to saved, but when I back nothing changed... anyway! In QA system when I got Tr: SMGW nothing listed there... but DEV system when I check tr: SMGW

local server name: local TP name LUname and TP name Users eveyring is listed there... Remember DEV is working fine... QA not, basically QA login through SAP GUI but you kow J2EE Engine is not start...

I think you are right in QA there is no entry for Gateway Monitor

How may i put that entry....

Thanks again your time
