History Horizon for Master Profile

Hi,

We are facing one issue here.Now this is July month and my History horizon is from 2005 Jan to June 2009. Now when I move to August then again I need to change the month July 2009 (to take the history from June).Is there any alternatives which makes automated as month progresses.There is no option of variant else making field as dynamic we would have automated the date change.

Please suggest what can be done to solve this.

Hi Raghu,

We have two kinds of options in forecast profiles History Horizon...

The one which we give specific data range which is not dynamic, where we meed to change the dates whenever requried.

and the Period and offset will help you to change the hirstory periods dynamically every month. thats why SAP is not provided variant there...

I suggest pleae explore on Period and offeset option in forecast prifle generation and make the changes as per your need. becuase offset will help you to go back in history also....
