How to shift PO between companies in SRM?

Hello,

My client has divided his regional sales business units as companies in SAP R/3 and SAP SRM (each company having their individual purchase organisation and purchasing group). They are now thinking about integrating one of thw company within another. Since this is a one time reorganisation they wanted to know if there was a way of transferring the SRM PO of the integrated company into the new one. The transaction BBPWLRA01(Workload reassigment) does not work for that particular need. Is there any standard transaction or report that can be used.

You have to change several pieces of information, since you are saying there is a change in PORG and comp code, so PORG, PGRP, COMP CODE, COST ASSIGNMENTS, PLANTS etc all have to be considered in this changes. Also, Material extensions to the plants under this new companies etc..

May not be impossible, but quite a task, there is no straightforward way with TCODE, you need to write a conversion program and do this.

I think is not possible.

you can not transfer PO at company level.

since company code is a legal entity.

moreover it is harm. for eg. your accounting data are related to only company code.
