load is running from longer time

Hi BW Professionals,

when i extracting data from R/3 to BW its running longer time (9hrs) but it extracted only 9 record and load was success so please suggest me to resolve this issue.

Hi,

generally it is a question of where the lag is placed.

If in the source system, serveral reasons are possible.

Check out the relevant tables and create indexes.

But as our colleague said - more details required.

Hi,

check out the entries in the request monitor. They have timestamps assigned to them. So you will be able to identify at which step the performance is bad. Is it at extraction time, the posting to psa, reading from psa, in your transfer rules, in the update rules, the update of the data target itself?
