Creation of Inspection Lot

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to create an inspection lot using QA01. It requires us to input the material no, plant and inspection lot origin. When i enter these values i get an error

"No valid inspection type for material 237 was found or selected".

We need to maintain an 'Inspection Type' for the material, plant and lot origin. Where do we maintain this setting in SPRO?

Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks!

These Settings in the SPRO can be maintained in

Quality Management---> Quality Inspection -> Inspection Lot Creation->Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types

Good Morning Prajakta,

Thanks for responding. I went through the settings you mentioned but am still not clear on how they impact the lot creation. I am still getting the same error. At the location in SPRO that you mentioned we need to maintain 5 fields. These are:

LO,No,DCr,TLType and Stat

I have set them as 89,89,001,Q and 4

But this does not resolve the issue. Are we missing something?
