Try this..

Open BEx for BW prod.

-Open Queries.

-Do a single click on the required query so that it gets highlighted.

-A button 'Enter in Role' will appear in the top toolbar of the screen on right hand side.

Try using this button.

cheers,

Vishvesh

Hi Wajid,

To assign queries in a role.

1. Goto Tcode pfcg. There you will find an existing role or u can create one of your own.

2. Then goto the Authorization Tab.Create a profile for that role.

3. Then click on the Change Authorization data button below.

4. In the next screen select the BW:Reporting User Role.

5.Next you will find a screen with few colors.

Click on

Business Information Warehouse dropdown->Business Explorer Components->Name (ID) of a reporting compo

.Under this u can specify your reports name.

6. Generate the Profile and come out.In the pfcg screen again in the Menu tab, you can create a menu of the reports you have added.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Parth.

1) PFCG->Enter your role->Change->Menu->Add the BEx or Web Report button-> Select BEx or Web report,

2) Go to User tab-> Add the user there and also do the user comparison.

3) Logoff Bex or WAD

4) Relogin to see them there..

I am not infront of system.. so the names may not match excatly..

All the best!
