Creation of roles in ERM

I need to know how to create roles in/using ERM GRC.

Can anyone provide information/documentation on the same?

Hello Arjun,

Once you complete the configuration as mentioned by Shweta, you can follow the methodology process configured to create a role. Basically you will follow a series of stages to define various elements of roles such as Role details, its authorizations, related derived roles, conduct risk analysis, generate the role, document the test results etc to create the role. You need to configure the stages which you wish to have in your role creation process and then follow the same process to create the roles. You can use the configuration guide as mentioned by Shweta to do this. In this guide you will find a complete section for ERM configuration using which you can configure your role creation methodology.

Hi Arjun,

You need to configure the workflow, connectors in ERM so that you can create a role from ERM.

Please check the section "Enterprise Role Management" in configuration guide.

You can get the configuration guide from service market place.

Logon to service.sap.com -> Software Download -> Release & Upgrade info

-> Installation & Upgrade Guides -> SAP BusinessObjects ->SAP BusinessObjects Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) -> Access Control -> SAP GRC Access Control 5.3
