Hi ,
The fucntionality of creating software components is not there in NWDS 7.0.
You can just create the development components in My components by default.
This functionaly is there in NWDS 7.1 EHp1 version there, while creating the DC it will ask the source software component where you can mention your SC name and SC vendor..
Hope this helps you..

Saleem

Hi Matteo,
You can create sca without having nwdi.
As my knowledge ,nwdi is provided for ,if your application is very complecated and need more resources to work on it,
and if any changes need to your deployed sca ,you can do easily with nwdi at the same time it keeps the all versions of components.
Thanks &Regards
