Mail Send Adapter: Different behavior an production und q-machine

Hi everybody,

we have exactly the same modules with the same parameters configured in both systems.

But our prod system is generating a special character that leads to an exeption:

com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: Invalid char #0x17(:main:, row:2, col:5) at

Could it be, that the modules used have different versions.

How can I check the version of a module. What else could cause the error?

THX, we asume the mail we receive is not correct. It isn't 8859-1.

Another possible source for the difference could be the mail server - is it the same on Q and on P stage?

Could you also post the first few lines of the received message? In specific, I wonder what's in line 2...

as you asume that the mail server is the problem. I have also the same suspicion. But it is the same mail server (MS Exchange).

Could it be, that the "post-office box" are configured differently?

I'm no MS Exchange expert, hence I can't rule it out.

What happens when you connect the Prod. XI to the QA mailbox?

Did you parsed the same data in Q machine, may be check there can be data issue also
