Upgrade solution manager 7.0 to ehp1

Dear Gurus,

I want to upgrade the present solution manager 7.0 to ehp1. to configure the SMD.

Can any body give the steps to do and the link.

1) Do I need to compulsory upgrade to configure SMD for netweaver 2004s(EP).

or can I use the exiting solman 7.0 to configure SMD.

Yes you can do that

Can I configure wily interscope also in the same solution manager system

I haven't done this configuration before but i think you can do that check this [Blog|;

I am not able to apply the 17 Basis and Abap Support packages in the solution manager for that Do i need to upgrade the solution manager EHP1

SP stack 17 comes with SAPKB70016 if you want to go with higher support pack level that will be EHP18,you cannot apply SAPKB70017

You can use existing solman 7.0

Hi Rao,

You can install SMD in exisitng solman 7.0 with our upgrading to EHP1. Check below nnik for that:

You can configure SMD in Solman 7.0 also. For upgrade guide go to http://service.sap.com/instguides --> SAP Components --> Solution Manager 7.0 check for the upgrade guide with respect to your OS and Database
