hi

I am installing NW7.0 EHP1 for windows AS ABAP.

when i re-install Global host preperation it gives below error for me in place of "creating Share saploc \usr\sap"

how to solve this.

*Initially i deleted created \usr\sap shared folder with saploc, and I recreated saploc and sapmount using below command with appropriate permission.

  • net share sapmnt=i:\usr\sap /Grant:Administrators, FULL /GRANT:SAP-LocalAdmin, FULL

net share saploc=i:\usr\sap /Grant:Administrators, FULL /GRANT:SAP-LocalAdmin, FULL

but still i get same error.

I checked in Computer management, now Share folder already exists for sapmnt and saploc. how to correct this error.

(share name: saploc) The network path was not found.

Check that the shares exist, i can see that you added rights for LocalAdmin, can you check that <sid>adm is a member of the Local Administrators?

Hi,

Delete all the folders in the location and restart the central system installation.

and let us know if you face any errors.
