How to install NWDI on a portal

Former Member

Hello,

We have installed a NetWeaver 7.0 with Portal (so only a JAVA instance no ABAP).

How do we now install NWDI usage type?

I know that it could have been selected during the initial installation, but it was not.

I am also wondering where to download it from?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Kenneth

Hi,

Try the link

for the complete installation guide. In this guide is NWDI mentioned

Note 883948 - NW 7.00(2004s): Inst.Add.Java Usage Types/Software Units

Hope this helps.

According to the Note 883948 - NW 7.00(2004s): Inst.Add.Java Usage Types/Software Units, it should be possible for me to install UT NWDI from JSPM.

I have been searching sapnet, but i can not find the packages for this.

Any hints?

Hello Kenneth,

I've done the NWDI Installation via JSPM successfully.

You need to go to "link for SP stacks"..select DI as the usage type & download the relevant SP files + SPtab.xml.

Once you dump all this in EPS/in..start JSPM according to the note.

Thanks,

Have a great day,

Saba.
