FM configuration for GM

Hi FM and/or GM gurus,

Our client wants to implement GM before they implement FM (the go live dates for both are 2 months apart). I do realize that the basic FM configuration has to be done to integrate with GM. However, my questions are:

1. Does any additional configruation have to be done in FM (again) once it has been completely implemented?

2. Will this kind of implementation (GM followed by FM) cause any potential problems? Have you guys been in this situation?

Will the client be well advised to wait until FM is implemented and then implement GM? What are the pros and cons.

PLEASE HELP!!!

HI,

Even if you want to implement GM at first you should atleast complete basic FM configuration first (to get the benefit of FM and GM Integration). Just complete SAP FM baseline configuration required for GM.
