Hi All
We are in the process of implementing FFF class product interchangeability . We have created a no range
internal 1 to 999999
external AAAAAAAAA to ZZZZZZZZZ
and all the groups are assigned to it. It is working fine in development system but in the quality system...
we have done the same thing but we are getting the error:
Internal and external no. ranges are not defined for the groups and the error log takes us to the same SPRO transaction to maintain these values. But we have those values maintained...
Any idea what can be the problem?
Pradeep
Hi Pradeep,
It gives error message " Internal and external no. ranges are not defined for the groups " only when Groupings and Assignment Number Ranges are not maintained properly.
Define Number range Intervals as follows:
No From Number To Number current Number ext
01 0000000001 9999999999
AB A ZZZZZZZZZZ CHECKED
Define Groupings and Assign Number Ranges as follows:
Grouping Short Name Description Number Range External Int.std.Grping Ext.std.Grping
0001 Int.no.assgnmnt Internal number assignment 01 CHECKED
0002 Ext.No.Assgnmnt External Number Assignment AB CHECKED CHECKED
After setting above setting restest scenario.
Thanks,
Nikhil
